TUTORIALS - ABOUT

The tutorials are a varied bunch, covering all kinds of topics. Some focus on helping beginners get up to speed with Unreal Engine 3, others cover more technically advanced topics such as how to use vertexcolors to blend textures. One way or another, I tried to focus on specialized topics. It would be a waste of time to talk about the same things as others are already doing, for example, how to make your first room. I'd much rather go into unexplored territory and offer tutorials on topics seldomly found elsewhere, or at least not as much as the your-first-room tutorials. If you are looking how to make your first room in Unreal Engine 3, look elsewhere. However, if you're interested in how to do nifty things with the material editor, or how to set up a particle, you're at the right spot.

My tutorials are always a work in progress, and new ones are added every few months, whenever time allows me. Also be sure to contact me if you have any comments, or found an error.

Please try to refrain from emailing me about very basic problems and questions as I have a very busy schedule. There are plenty of places online where you can find the answer, or ask a question.

Unreal Engine-wise the BeyondUnreal editing forums and the 3DBuzz forums might be a good place to start, as might the official UT3 forums.
In terms of IRC there is irc.enterthegame.com #unrealed as the semi official channel as well as a clone on irc.quakenet.org #unrealed.

Links to all those can be found on the Links page.

If you wish to translate my tutorials, or one way or another (re)distribute them, please contact me first just so I know what is going on.
